刀尖上的傳奇

SUN HUAWEA bom in Shandong Province in 1979, has
served in the army for more than eighteen years He has got
six Medals of Merit, and grown from a private into a ser-
geant major. Huawei boasts not only the excellent military
service but also his sharp-honed talent for news report and
creative writing. With a Bachelor's Degree in Law, Huawei
began his writing career as early as he was sixteen, pub-
lished his first collection of essays at the age of twenty-two,
and continued to engage in writing as a journalist, screen-
writer, lyricist, playwright, as well as essayist. Over the past
decade, Huawei has had an immense number of works pub-
lished in such nationwide press as CCTV, People's Daily,
and Liberation Army's Daily, and has been awarded time
and again for his contributions to contemporary Chinese
military literature. Sun Huawei is now holding the member-
ship of the Chinese Institute of Prose. and the contract with
the Writing Center of Contemporary Writers.
