Miffy

Miffy is the little girl bunny who has become a friend to millions of babies and toddlers since she was created by Dick Bruna in the 1950s. She has instant appeal thanks to the bold, colourful illustrations and the rhyming stories that accompany them. Miffy's creator, Dick Bruna, said he made the text as simple as possible to leave children lots of room for their own imagination. Because each of the Miffy books are all about familiar situations they play an important role in helping children learn about the world around them.

Since the publication of his first book "The Apple" in 1953 his work has been translated into more than 40 languages, 80 million books have been sold worldwide and his work has been awarded with numerous prizes.
