(Anti)Conformismo
The works collected in this issue do not speak directly of “conformism” or “anticonformism.” They are notes and provocations, subtle glances at different ways of being—of being the same or different. Susan Barnett explores people through the T-shirts they wear. Ji Yeo focuses on her native country, South Korea, which has the world’s highest per capita rate of cosmetic plastic surgery. Massimo Siragusa is not a tourist, he is a photographer that becomes an anthropological researcher. By riding on a typical tourist open bus, he shows us how the passive mode of mass tourism has flattened our view of the world, making everything look the same. Marta Soul talks about the contemporary role of women, and specifically of women in the workforce who are constrained into a stereotypical image in order to respond to the requirements of the workplace. Tim Bowditch poetically documents the delicate Japanese tradition of visiting places to enjoy the reddening of leaves during autumn. Stacey Baker’s series originates almost by chance: the fact that she uses a Smartphone and commutes by foot in New York.
作者簡介:
OjodePez 是一本作風大膽的攝影欣賞雜誌,以攝影師為單元的記錄式題材為主的一本西班牙雜誌,非常有質感的一本季刊。
