Making Appointments: Going to the Dentist
Part A
Dana walks into the living room. Her brother Chuck is on the phone.
Chuck: I’d like to book a dentist appointment for tomorrow morning at nine. Great! See you then.
Dana: Why are you going to the dentist?
Chuck: My tooth is killing me. I had to clear my schedule and book an appointment.
Dana: How will you get there? The subway will be crowded, and... Wait. Why are you smiling at me like that?
Chuck: Are you free? Maybe you can drive me.
Dana: My schedule’s full. I have an appointment at a hair salon tomorrow.
Chuck: Do me a favor! Please!
Dana: Fine. I’ll call the salon and change my appointment.
