《臺灣音樂憶像IV－謠唱島嶼》收錄蕭泰然、馬水龍、沈錦堂、徐松榮、張炫文、曾興魁、錢南章、陳樹熙等8位臺灣作曲家的17首合唱作品，曲目涵蓋國語、臺語、客語、原住民語等臺灣在地語言，象徵著臺灣多元文化的生命力，也展現出臺灣合唱音樂的豐沛能量。
The tracks of the album, Taiwan Music Image IV—Folk Songs of Our Homeland collects seventeen choral songs by eight Taiwanese composers, including Tyzen Hsiao, Shui-Long Ma, Ching-Tan Shen, Sung-Jung Hsu, Hsuan-Wen Chang, Shing-Kwei Tzeng, Nan-Chang Chien, and Shu-Si Chen. These songs are in various local tongues, such as Mandarin, Taiwanese, Hakka, and aboriginal languages. The rhythm and rhymes of different languages are woven together in harmony, which symbolizes the vitality of our multiple cultures and presents the energy of our choral music.
